Case against BJP MLA and son for raping and torturing Uttar Pradesh woman SEDI News

According to the FIR lodged at Agra’s Tajganj police station, Laxmikant Verma, son of BJP MLA from Fatehabad, Chhotelal Verma, allegedly raped the woman in 2003 when she was just 17 years old.

According to the FIR, the woman was a friend of the MLA’s daughter and used to visit her house frequently.

It said, on November 16, 2003, Laxmikant Verma gave her a drink mixed with intoxicants and when she fell unconscious, he raped her.

According to the FIR, the woman claimed that Verma made a video of the entire incident and threatened dire consequences if she told anyone about it.

According to the FIR, sometime after the incident, Laxmikant Verma married her in the temple and got the job of receptionist in a cyber cafe in Agra. The cafe belonged to Verma and his friend.

According to the FIR, both the first child was a daughter and Verma wanted a son as the second child, so he aborted the woman and eventually gave birth to a son.

According to the FIR, Laxmikant Verma forced the woman to take a divorce and married a woman from Rajasthan in 2006.

According to the FIR, the woman has said that the BJP MLA and his family members are responsible for ruining the lives of her and her two children.

Bhupendra Baliyan, in-charge of Tajganj police station said, “IPC sections 376 (rape), 313 (causing abortion), 323 and 328 (causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult) against Laxmikant Verma. Cases have been registered in 506 (criminal intimidation) and 494 (big marriage).

According to the report of Dainik Jagran, the statement of the woman who lodged the FIR has been recorded on Thursday. The woman has accused BJP MLA Chhote Lal Verma’s son Laxmikant Verma of rape as well as abortion. The woman says that in the desire of the son, both the accused got her aborted four times and they were threatened with death.

Apart from this incident, a case has been registered against BJP leader Manoj Masih, his wife and son in Badaun city of Uttar Pradesh for illegally taking a woman hostage.

However, Christ has denied the allegation. The said woman is currently under the supervision of the police.

According to the police, a woman doctor in Badaun has alleged in a complaint given to the police that BJP leader Manoj Masih, his wife Amita Masih and son Rishabh Masih along with some unidentified people entered her house on September 17 and fired a gun. But took away his daughter.

Manoj Masih is a former member of the Uttar Pradesh Minorities Commission.

Based on the complaint, the police have registered an FIR against the accused.

On the other hand, Manoj Masih has claimed that a woman herself came to his house and informed the police.

Badaun Superintendent of Police OP Singh said, “Manoj Masih called the police to his house on September 17 and handed over the woman to us. The woman refused to return to her family, so she has been kept at the center for women and children in the district hospital.

The SP said, ‘The woman will be produced before a magistrate to record her statement. The CCTV footage is being examined and further action will be taken after recording the statement.

BJP District President Rajiv Gupta claimed that in the present BJP government, no illegal act can get any protection at any level. He said that in this case also the police will take action on the basis of facts.
