Heavy rains in Delhi-NCR – Kesari SEDI News

Noida: After the heavy rains in Delhi-NCR, the roads are waterlogged at various places. Due to this Delhiites are facing traffic jams. Schools in Noida from Class I to VIII have been ordered to remain closed today by the administration. Employees in private offices in Gurgaon have been asked to ‘work from home’.

Heavy rains lashed parts of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. There are reports of loss of lives due to this. Heavy rains damaged some properties in NCR. Due to waterlogged roads, the traffic police have to work hard to solve the traffic jam. There have also been incidents of uprooting of trees in some areas.

46 percent of the water deficit in Delhi-NCR has been filled due to the rains during the return monsoon. This allows Delhiites to experience clean air and helps to keep the temperature under control. New Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 23.8 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 28 degrees Celsius today.
