The government and the health department are fully prepared for the Kala-azar eradication program. Intensive spraying campaign is going on in 26 blocks under the second phase in the district. To prevent Kala-azar, spraying is being done from door to door by the spraying team with SP powder. Necessary instructions have been given by CS Dr Anjani Kumar. In which in any case, to complete the spraying work within the stipulated time period, it has been asked to take necessary initiative by preparing microplan and action plan at the district level. Keep these things in mind during spraying-
Before spraying, close the hole/crack of the inner wall of the house.
– Make sure to sprinkle six feet on all the rooms of the house, the kitchen, the house of worship, and the inner walls of the Gohal. Enter the house two hours after spraying.
Before spraying, keep food items, utensils, clothes etc. out of the house.
