Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh BJP MP Janardan Mishra cleaned the toilet with his bare hands at a girls’ school on Friday. The video of this went viral on social media. Janardan Mishra revealed on Twitter that he participated in the toilet cleaning program at Khathari Girls’ School as part of the “Seva Pahwada” hosted by BJP Yuva Morcha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swachh Bharat mission on 2 October 2014. As part of this mission, the goal was to rid the country’s villages, panchayats, districts, states and union territories of open defecation by the 150th anniversary of Gandhi’s birth on October 2, 2019. According to government statistics, more than 100 million toilets have been built in rural areas as part of this project.
