During an eight-over effort against Australia in Nagpur, Rohit Sharma surpassed Martin Guptill to top the list of batsmen who hit the most sixes in T20Is.
Rohit Sharma, the highest run scorer in T20Is, has overtaken Martin Guptill’s total of sixes to become the top T20I six hitter. The Indian skipper now has 174 sixes in the format after hitting two sixes in Josh Hazlewood’s opening over in a chase of 91 runs in eight overs.
He is followed by Guptill (172 sixes) and Chris Gayle (124 sixes). Virat Kohli is the only other Indian hitter with more than 100 T20I sixes, now with 104 in the format.
