Shivraj government will beautify 5 shrines in 2 years, cost ₹ 3000 crore SEDI News

Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of Madhya Pradesh is ready to rejuvenate the temples in the state. More recently, BJP has set a record by building Mahakal Lok in the court of Baba Mahakal in Ujjain. At the same time, the work of the second phase is also going to start to make the temple grand.

Along with this, the state government now plans to rejuvenate other temples of the state. Shivraj government is soon going to beautify five more temples of the state.

Shivraj government will beautify five major temples of the state in the next two years. For this the government will spend Rs 3000 crore. After Mahakal Lok, the state government will rejuvenate Omkareshwar temple in Khandwa district, Salkanpur temple in Sehore, Pitambara temple in Datia district, Shanishchara temple in Chitrakoot and Maihar temple in Satna district.

The work of the second Jyotirling Omkareshwar temple can come first in the temples of the state that the Madhya Pradesh government is going to expand. A 108 feet statue of Shankaracharya will also be built here.

Apart from this, like Mahakal Lok, this work will be done in different phases under a project of Rs 2141.85 crore. It is being told that the statue of Adi Shankaracharya will be ready here, it will be safe for 500 years. The State Government has entrusted the Ministry of Tourism for the expansion of these temples.

Mahakal: Many areas will be developed in the second phase

850 crore will be spent on developing the Mahakal complex in Ujjain. The first phase is done. The second phase will be completed in 2023. In this, development of Maharaj complex, Rudrasagar renovation, parking and tourism information center, Mahakal gate and ancient road will be developed.

Salkanpur: 45 crore work started

The look of Salkanpur will also change before August. The work will be completed in two parts. The state government has started work for 45 crores. A proposal of 55 crores has been sent to the Centre. This will happen in the second phase.

Omkareshwar- 108 feet Shankaracharya statue will be made

2141.85 crore will be spent on the entire project in different phases. A 108 feet statue of Adi Shankaracharya, being prepared with a mixture of metals, will be made in 198.25 crores. Super stainless steel is being used to make it. It will not suffer for 500 years.

Whereas, works worth Rs 30 crore will be done in Maihar. Access road with facilities around Mai’s place (on the hill) and works worth Rs 30 crore for the devotees.

Datia: Devotees will get more facilities

There is a project of 25 crores for other facilities and works in Siddhapeeth Pitambara Mai. It has got in-principle consent under the Prasad scheme of the Centre. DPR work has started. Along with commuting, there will be a means for the devotees to stay. A large number of people reach during the Shardiya Navratri. So the way to reach there will also be good.

Shanishchara: Biggest Shani Dham will be made

Temple work will be done for 30 crores. This will be the biggest Shani Dham of MP. Since it is an ancient temple, its main gate will be made grand. Being 18 km away from Gwalior, the approach road around the temple will be improved.

Chitrakoot: Theme of Swadesh and Ram Darshan

With the movement of Ram Vanpath, the entire Chitrakoot will be developed in 100 crores. It will be made on the theme of Swadesh and Ram Darshan. Work on DPR has started for making the best location. A lot of work has been done on the part of Uttar Pradesh. This is the way from Satna. Amenities will develop on the way before reaching Chitrakoot.
