Two sisters will host free creativity and mindfulness workshops library near Glasgow.
Deborah and Joe will be running two Mindful Crafting and Meditation Experience sessions at Craig Bishopbriggs Library on Saturday 8 October at 10am and 2pm.
The event is part of a funded initiative with local sister-led businesses.
Two hours long, each session will include deep, group meditation using a strategically selected craft technique and appropriate tools and techniques.

Deborah Craig said: “The sessions will explore thoughts, feelings and experiences through creativity and mindfulness.
“Being able to acknowledge and express how you feel is key to processing emotions that can lead to bigger problems.
“This program supports all learning styles – talking and expressing thoughts and feelings, self-expression through creativity and relaxation with guided meditation to release emotions to help us stay present. The past and we don’t know the future – staying in the present is the key to balance. is.”

Jim Neill, Chair of East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture (EDLC) Trust added, “I know many people are still overwhelmed and stressed as a result of the Covid pandemic.
“This can lead to feelings of disempowerment and some difficulties in rejoining groups after restrictions are lifted.
“The free sessions are packed with tools, strategies and techniques that are transferable to everyday life, including meditation, crafts, learning how to release emotion, ground yourself and create your own inner peace and happiness.”
