A few days ago, the result of the Rajasthan Judicial Services Examination was announced. Karthika secured the 66th rank. The 23-year-old girl told about her success that her only dream was to wear a black coat and sit on the judge’s chair. Confident Karthika knew that this dream would come true one day.

Karthika said. “My father has been the driver of the Chief Justice of Rajasthan for the last 31 years. Because of this, I became a fan of that black coat at a very young age. ”

Most children change their dreams at some point in their lives. But Karthika is stubborn since childhood. He also feels that his interest in law has made him more focused. Mezzo Karthika is among four brothers. His other brother Pahan is also interested in law.

But Karthika’s road to success was not easy. After completing his schooling at St. Austin’s School, Jodhpur, he completed his law studies at Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur. Karthika said. “I was interested in law from a young age. But during the fifth and sixth semesters, I fell more in love with the subject. That’s when I started my practice in the district court. When everything stops due to lockdown, online preparation for competitive exams starts.

Karthika loves to study. But he is not in favor of learning without eating and drinking. Talking about her exam preparation, Karthika says; “True, there was consistency in the daily studies. But I couldn’t study with my face closed.’ Karthika studied for three to four hours a day. But in the end he should have been a bit strict, Karthika admits. After announcing the exam date, he studied 10-12 hours a day.

The goal was fixed. “I have to be successful in every way. So reading time also increased. And really this time it was the best preparation,” said Karthika. The music-loving law student said that she was focused on different types of music, instrumental music. Even music has helped to get rid of various types of stress.

Karthika believes that knowledge of the law is a must for all women. Speaking about women studying law, he said. Because they are afraid that they cannot marry a girl studying law. But I think that more and more women should study law so that they can better know their rights, lead an independent and self-sufficient life.”

But not just women, Karthika believes that all people should have a basic understanding of the law. Which will help people fight for their rights in everyday life.

Karthika credits her success to her family and former Allahabad High Court Chief Justice Govinda Mathur. He said that it was possible to pass the exam thanks to the support and cooperation of the family. Besides, he also said that he got a lot of advice from former Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court Govind Mathur. He has helped at various levels. Meanwhile, Karthika’s father Rajendra Gehlot said that mom has a special contribution in motivating and supporting Karthika in every way.

Karthika is very focused on her work. He consciously keeps himself away from social media. Kartika does not have an account on Facebook or Instagram. For daily needs, he only uses WhatsApp to keep in touch with people.
