CM could not appear before ED, JMM came out in protest
Ranchi : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren did not appear on the ED’s summons on Thursday, but launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led central government over it. He said that if any offense has been committed on my part then why are summons and notices being sent, come and arrest me. CM Soren said that I was summoned by the ED to appear today, when I had an event in Chhattisgarh today. If I have committed any crime, then come and arrest me. What is the need of inquiry for this? He asked in a questioning tone why the security has been increased outside the ED office. Why are you scared of Jharkhandis?
CM Hemant Soren said that we have identified some outside gangs in the state. Those who want that the tribals of Jharkhand cannot stand on their feet. Jharkhandis will rule in this state, no outside power will be able to capture it. The BJP will be wiped out from the state in the coming Lok Sabha elections and assembly elections.

Meanwhile, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has come out on the road against the ED’s summons to CM Hemant Soren. Hundreds of workers first gathered at the historic Morhabadi ground and then in the form of a rally, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji, Union General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya, MLAs Deepak Birua and Baijnath Ram and senior leader Vinod Pandey reached the Chief Minister’s residence. The workers held the party flag. Outside the Chief Minister’s residence, JMM workers raised slogans against the central government, BJP and central agencies.

JMM’s central general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya, MLAs Deepak Birua and Baijnath Ram, who were involved in the protest, attacked the BJP fiercely. Supriyo Bhattacharya said that in the 2019 assembly elections, we got a clear and full mandate, but the party with a feudalist thinking is unable to digest it. Tribal Chief Minister is not digesting them. He said that the CM has pre-determined programs, so he did not go to the ED office. At the same time, MLA Deepak Birua said that BJP is doing unconstitutional work for power. The Chief Minister was summoned in a hurry. He said that we have proved our majority by convening a special session, but these people are not being digested.
